If you are a great day out with the kids then Fort Fun is definitely worth a visit. Located on the seafront, the water amusement theme park is guaranteed to keep your kids entertained for the day. It has indoor and outdoor play areas which includes soft play, sand play pits, bouncy pillow an outdoor jungle gym and water slides outside which are ideal for a hot summers day. It also has food facilities which serves hot and cold food and also tea and coffee for the parents to enjoy. It is reasonably priced and is suitable for children of all ages.
Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway Adventure Park
Another great day out for the family is Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway Adventure Park. The park is located on Lottbridge Drove in Eastbourne and is around a 5minute drive from the beach. It has a model train track which routes around a big fishing lake. The children and parents can sit on the steam train and ride around the lake. It has a cafe which sells hot and cold food. It also has a shop onsite where you can treat the kids to a souvnenir for them to remember the day.
Eastbourne Pier
The historic Eastbourne Pier is one of the main attractions to Eastbourne. Originally built in 1865 it has recently had an refurbishment. It was recently refurbished following an unfortunate fire. Since the refurbishment it now hosts, Victorian Tea Rooms, a 1901 Jazz Lounge an Upmarket restaurant called The Ocean Lounge. If you don’t fancy sitting down and dining then there is a good old traditional fish & chip shop for you to enjoy a portion of chips right by the sea!
Camping in Eastbourne
If you are a family that enjoy camping then why not check out Normans Bay Camping and Carvanning Club Site. Situated right on the sea front the Norman Bay Camp site is great for small families and couples who like the outdoors. You will be very close to the amenities and won’t have to go far to find some of Eastbourne’s main attractions.
